BP Onshore Pipelines (1993 to date)

Term contract with BP for provision of routine CP monitoring, specialised surveys, CP remediation/upgrades and corrosion consultancy services on the Miller Pipeline System, Clair, EOS and WOS pipelines at Sullom Voe Terminal in Shetland. Previous operator/owner of FPS.

Brent & Ninian Landline Pipelines in Shetland (2003 to date)

Term contract for provision of routine CP monitoring, specialised surveys, CP remediation/upgrades and corrosion consultancy services on the Brent and Ninian Landline Pipeline Systems in Shetland. Operators are now TAQA and EnQuest respectively.

CATS & Product Pipelines in Teesside (2000 to date)

Term contract for provision of routine CP monitoring, specialised surveys, CP remediation/upgrades/borehole groundbed design and corrosion consultancy services on the CATS and NGL Product Pipeline Systems in Teesside. Operated now by Wood.

Finnart – Grangemouth Pipelines & Finnart Jetties (1996 to date)

Design, CP material supply, installation supervision and commissioning of additional impressed current CP systems for the FG cross-country pipelines. Projects included a loch based impressed current groundbed and wind turbine driven CP station. The FG pipelines and Finnart terminal/jetties are now owned and operated by Petroineos.

Forties Pipeline System (1993 to date)

Term contract with INEOS FPS (formerly BP) for provision of routine CP monitoring, specialised surveys, CP remediation/upgrades and corrosion consultancy services on the Forties Pipeline System: Forties Sealines, Forties Landline & Booster Stations, Kinneil – Dalmeny & Dalmeny – Hound Point pipelines; Dalmeny Tank Farm and Hound Point Tanker Berths. Recent design of bespoke ICCP system and monitoring equipment for three extensive structures on the KD pipeline associated with the Forth Road Crossing (FRC) project.

INEOS Grangemouth Jetties (since 2008 to date)

Supply of replacement impressed current anodes, installation supervision and commissioning thereafter for West Jetties E1 & E2. Design of replacement impressed current CP systems for East Jetties J2 and J3, including automatically controlled T/R units, permanent reference electrodes and IC anodes. Routine six monthly inspections on East and West Jetties, various FSUs & fault-finding.

INEOS Grangemouth Pipelines (1996 to date)

Design, CP material supply, installation supervision and commissioning of additional impressed current CP systems for the INEOS Ethylene pipeline network in the UK.

Provision of cathodic protection monitoring, specialised surveys, CP system design & upgrades, ac mitigation, ER probe installations and corrosion consultancy services on WGEP, MGEP, NGPG and TSEP pipeline systems and various ‘local’ pipelines at Grangemouth.

MOD Depots and Jetties (2000 onwards)

Provision of cathodic protection monitoring, specialised surveys and corrosion consultancy services for various depots, loading / cross-base pipelines and jetties throughout Scotland.

RNLI – Wick Lifeboat Floating Pontoon (2017)

Design of a suitable sacrificial anode CP scheme to safeguard the integrity of the floating steel pontoon at RNLI Wick and associated on-going CP and corrosion consultancy services.

Sabic Petrochemicals – Ethylene Pipelines (1996 onwards)

Provision of CIP and DCVG specialised CP surveys and establishment of a rolling inspection program on the Wilton – Grangemouth and Trans – Pennine Ethylene pipeline systems. On-going CP and ac consultancy services.

Shell UK Limited – FLAGS Onshore Pipeline System (1993 onwards)

Term contract for provision of routine CP monitoring, specialised surveys, CP remediation/upgrades and corrosion consultancy services on the FLAGS, Fulmar, Goldeneye and Mossmorran – Braefoot Bay onshore pipeline systems. Recent design of bespoke ICCP linear anode system and monitoring equipment for AWPR structure associated with crossing of the Shell 20" NGL pipeline.

Scottish Water - Outfalls & Pipelines (1995 onwards)

Routine maintenance inspections, specialised CP surveys and corrosion consultancy of various longsea outfalls, treatment plants and cross-country pipelines.

Training Courses for Various Clients

Preparation and provision of corrosion and cathodic protection training course to Petroineos, INEOS, Shell and Sabic personnel. Training covered the main aspects of pipeline and jetty sacrificial and impressed current CP schemes, from basic principles through to a general review on the status of their respective CP systems.
